Terms of Service
Last updated: September 25, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of software and services sold by Soundwall Studios LLC ("Soundwall," "we," "us"), 31324 Via Colinas Ste 116, Westlake Village, CA 91362, including QuickStem and QuickStem Plus (the "Software"). By completing a purchase or using the Software, you agree to these Terms.
1. Licence
When you purchase the Software you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use it on Apple computers that you own or control, for your own music production work. The licence is perpetual: it does not expire and there is no subscription. A licence is issued as a licence key tied to the email address used at checkout. You may not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or share your licence key, and you may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to circumvent the licence system.
2. Editions
QuickStem bounces stems and mix versions from Logic Pro. QuickStem Plus includes everything in QuickStem plus click tracks, spoken cues, and lyric sheets. Your licence covers the edition you purchased. Features may be added, changed, or removed in updates; we will not remove core functionality from an edition you have paid for without offering an equivalent.
3. Founders' round and discount codes
Early testers may receive a single-use discount code that reduces the price of QuickStem Plus. A licence purchased with such a code is a full, perpetual QuickStem Plus licence with the same rights as a full-price licence. Discount codes are personal, may be used once, expire on the date stated when issued, and have no cash value. In exchange for the discount, founders' round purchasers agree to provide reasonable feedback on the Software during the testing period; failure to do so does not affect the licence.
4. System requirements
The Software requires macOS 14 or later, Logic Pro 11 or later, and an Apple silicon or Intel Mac. It is signed and notarized by Apple. On first run macOS will ask for Accessibility permission, because the Software drives Logic Pro directly; the Software cannot function without that permission. Logic Pro is sold separately by Apple and is not included.
5. Payment and delivery
Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars. After a successful payment you will be redirected to a page that issues your licence key, and a copy is sent to the email address you used at checkout. If you do not receive your key within 24 hours, contact us at the address below and we will resend it.
6. Refunds
If the Software does not work on a system that meets the requirements above and we are unable to resolve the problem within 14 days of your report, we will refund your purchase in full. Otherwise, because the Software is delivered digitally and immediately, all sales are final. Refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchase to the contact address below.
7. Updates and support
We may release updates that fix bugs, add features, or maintain compatibility with new versions of macOS or Logic Pro. Updates within the same major version are included with your licence. Support is provided by email on a best-effort basis; we do not guarantee response times.
8. Your content
The Software runs on your computer and processes your Logic Pro projects locally. We do not receive, store, or claim any rights in your audio, project files, lyrics, or other content. Licence activation sends your licence key and a machine identifier to our licence server so that we can verify your purchase.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will be compatible with future versions of macOS or Logic Pro. Always keep backups of your projects.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Soundwall Studios LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or lost sessions, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Software. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Software is limited to the amount you paid for it.
11. Termination
We may revoke a licence if these Terms are materially breached, for example if a licence key is shared or resold. You may stop using the Software at any time by deleting it; doing so does not entitle you to a refund except as described in Section 6.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
